Danger in the Fridged Pacific - part deux

Surrounded by an army of Physalia physalis (Portuguese Man-o- War, a colonial organism made up of individuals called zooids) we persevered; even after I was kissed by the nematocyst filled dactylozooid, I persevered…after screaming like a little girl that is.  Today the relentless lumpy red itch harkens me back to that cold and dreary day when we, as a formidable team, persevered in the face of adversity.

Alas the misery soon past and we were again embraced by the warm tropical sun on our way to an epicurean delight of Surf ‘n Turf sandwiches.

continue to part trios
